MacroCoach lets you delete your account and your associated identifying information at any time. This page explains exactly how and what happens to your data. The fastest method is the in-app path below; if you can no longer sign in, write to us and we will process the deletion manually.
If you have lost access to your account (no longer have the Google account you signed in with), email us from the address that was on the account:
MacroCoach account deletion request
Include the Google account email you used to sign in. After we verify identity, we process the deletion as soon as practicable — typically within a few business days of receiving your request. There is no fee.
When your account is deleted — whether you use the in-app path or the email request — we immediately and permanently erase all the identifying information we hold about you:
Your historical food-log and weight-log entries are retained in a de-identified (anonymized) form: once your identifying information is erased, those records can no longer be linked back to you. We keep them in anonymized form because they are part of an append-only operational record that the system's integrity relies on (we do not silently delete data that the audit log records as having existed). The anonymized records contain only the food/weight values and timestamps you entered — no name, email, mobile number, or Google identifier.
MacroCoach does not share your data with third parties for purposes outside processing. When you delete your account:
